User Experience encircles all aspects of the end-users interaction with the company, its services and its products. User experience, or UX, is a popular term in the technology and design industries today. User experience design is a vast, multidisciplinary and fascinating field. User Experience Design considers each and every feature that creates this experience, how it makes the user feel, and how easy it is for the user to achieve their tasks. THE QUADRANT MODEL OF UX DESIGN

User Experience is a broad term that is divided into four main categories:-

Experience Strategy 

Experience strategy is all about devising a wholesome business strategy, including the needs of both the customer and the company.

Interaction Design

Interaction Design looks at how the user interacts with a system and creates intuitive designs that allow the user to complete tasks and actions efficiently. 

User Research

User experience designing is all about identifying the problem and designing a solution and that requires huge research work. The research is carried on through surveys, interviews, user personas and testing. With qualitative and quantitative data, they create good designs.

Information Architecture 

It is the practice of organizing information and content in a meaningful way that will be easy to access too. 

WHAT DOES A UX DESIGNER DO? 

The main task of the UX Designer is to create products, services and technology that are user-friendly and easily accessible. They use design thinking to match the user’s wishes with technical ease and business viability. The Design Thinking Process can be broken down into four different stages:

  •  inspiration
  • conceptualization
  • iteration 
  • exposition

The designers need to analyze and try to understand in the initial phase. They observe and do extensive research. With the data, they identify the user’s goal. They use various techniques to map out user flows. Now they are aware of the steps that need to be taken to complete the product. They come up with solutions for any problems. The tasks do vary depending on the size and specific needs of the company. 

With the growth of the technology industry, the field of UX design is growing vastly with variety. Some examples of what UX designers can work on would be – websites, apps, software design, voice design, virtual reality, augmented reality and service design.
